Philadelphia Energy Pathways, UPenn Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, 2017-2018Analyzed three energy reduction pathways for regional co-benefits to inform long-term planning: optimizing gas infrastructure, optimizing electric infrastructure, and harnessing distributed energy resources. Built out strategies on residential and commercial building fuel switching, tightening building codes stringency, and increasing energy performance in retrofits. Philadelphia Energy Master Plan, 2016-2017Assisted build-out of a comprehensive tool that baselines and forecasts citywide energy use and GHG emissions. Led compilation of building energy data to feed into the tool, allowing for calculation and visualization of impacts from certain policy scenarios. Assisted development of specific strategy recommendations.

Multi-sector Approach to Reducing GHG Emissions in the Metropolitan Washington Region, 2015Performed quantitative and qualitative analysis of energy and GHG reductions across the energy and built environment sectors based on regional strategies determined by MWCOG.

Convened and facilitated an 11-school consortium with a commitment to meeting Pittsburgh’s GHG reduction target. Connected schools with resources and services, developed communications, and planned events while assisting campus GHG inventories and energy efficiency project analysis.• Assisted GHG inventory process at 6 schools, quantifying over 350,000 tons of CO2e• Planned and led GHG inventory workshop for 20 faculty and staff• Created & managed restricted access website for sharing of sensitive information & resources

Facilitated both the Pittsburgh Climate Initiative and HECC partnerships with local government, business, nonprofit, and higher education stakeholders by leading meetings and communications, providing research assistance, and seeking out and capitalizing on points of collaboration. • Performed research and writing as co-author of Pittsburgh Climate Action Plan v 2.0.
