Various Defense/threat Projects (1983-1987). While at Quest Research (parent company QuesTech), served as member of the technical staff providing support in areas of chemical/biological defense, threat analysis, and support to joint service committees. As technical writer/editor, co-authored and edited a variety of reports, proposals, and bibliographies, including a technical report on visual deception, published by USAF Wright Aeronautical Laboratory. Wrote the Computer Resource Management Plan (CRMP) for the AN/TRQ-32(V) Team-MATE electronics system. Compiled data and background research in chemical/biological effects and defense and developed information management format for Air Force data base project. Performed open source data collection on Soviet R&D activities and organizations. Participated in scenario laydown of threat missile and other assets for Air Force western European scenario. Conducted line-of sight (LOS) and Battlebook Calculus analysis of Armored Family of Vehicles, including actual calculation of results against time. Managed and supervised inventory project accounting for over $11,000,000 worth of military equipment. Provided organization support to the Joint Directors of Laboratories (JDL) Technology Panel on Electronic Warfare (TPEW), and later Joint Technical Coordinating Committee for Electronic Warfare (JTCG/EW, including data base listing and comparison of programs across the tri-services and briefing preparation..
