About John Johnson
Experienced Registered Nurse leader and mentor. I have 20+ years of experience in emergency medicine. I am driven to be a leader and mentor to my peers and the nursing community. I have worked hard to become a respected leader in emergency medicine and continue to grow as a leader in my role as nurse manager. I enjoy helping people in their time of need and being a front line worker in the healthcare industry. I started off as a Emergency Medical Technician about 20 years ago working for several different ambulance services in my local community. Though I still thoroughly enjoyed working on the ambulance, my thirst for further knowledge and skills lead me to nursing. As a nurse I have worked hard to become a driven leader and still enjoy learning ways to advance my knowledge as well as pass my knowledge on to others. I have held several roles as a nurse including charge nurse, nurse educator, and now have risen to nurse manager. I am planning on earning by certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) within the next year and hopefully becoming a Trauma Certified Registerd Nurese (CTRN) shortly after.
