Professional Financial Management Leader with 20 plus years of progressive accounting experience in four law firms.I started in a small 40 attorney law firm handling all areas of accounting including GL, AP and Billing. I was introduced to the Elite accounting system and I have used it for most of my career.At my next law firm, a 350 attorney law firm, I lead the creation and installation of billing templates for the newly implemented Elite accounting system. Once completed, I transferred to the GL department and assisted with month end closing, reporting and account reconciliation. I held several managerial positions over the Client Accounting and General Accounting departments, establishing policies and improving procedures for each department. I lead the annual budget process and preparation of actual-to-budget reporting.Moving to an AmLaw Top 25, 1,000 attorney, law firm, I used my broad job knowledge and experiences to assist them in analysis and reporting for legal and administrative department leaders. I was a major contributor of the annual budget and lead in the development of the annual billing rates.Now, with my current law firm, I am the Controller of the firm and in charge of all Accounting functions.
