He has assisted his clients with a broad range of complex cross-border transactions and investments and the accompanying international tax and tax accounting issues.• Advised U.S. and non-U.S. clients seeking to expand abroad and addressed their needs with choice of entity/structuring decisions, funding mechanisms (e.g., equity, debt and hybrid instruments), tax-efficient structuring of their global supply chain including intercompany transactions and the cross-border use of intellectual property.• Advised U.S. multi-national clients with U.S. anti-deferral (e.g., Subpart F, IRC Sec. 956 and PFIC) planning, U.S. foreign tax credit optimization, repatriation planning, transfer pricing, tax-efficient global cash management and U.S. and foreign legal entity restructuring and rationalization.• Assisted both U.S. multi-national and non-U.S. businesses with their U.S. tax compliance needs.• Assisted U.S. multi-national clients to address tax accounting requirements relating to their worldwide business operations (ASC 740). • Assisted multi-national clients assess, document and compute deferred taxes associated with FIN 48 as well as create, document, execute and test audit plans to address SOX 404 matters.
