I have 20 yrs of executive management experience in leading start-ups, expansions, and turnarounds of companies in the US and abroad.Decreased labor costs that directly increased earnings by 77%. (1.1M to 1.5M)Personally went to Taiwan to setup logistics and develop the supply chain that allowed Hitachi PC to introduce the world's first 166MHZ-notebook computer.I lead the turnaround of a satellite radio manufacturing division of a government contractor that took a 26K product that lost money previously and produced virtually the same product but for a sale price of 15K and made a substantial profit.I started a Lean culture in a foreign country that resulted in the highest historical levels of quality and productivity so the parent company moved all manufacturing to Puerto Rico.Created JIT shop floor strategy, reduced lead-time from 30 to only five days, totally eliminated backorders, achieved and maintained no overtime for 16 consecutive months.Full P&L responsibility for the strategic planning, start-up, staffing, budgeting, technology, operations and leadership of the largest of the corporation's 14 worldwide manufacturing facilities. Recruited management team (e.g., Materials, Purchasing, Production, Industrial Engineering, Test Engineering, Facilities, Quality, and Finance). I was the first employee in this operation which eventually grew to 720.Specialties: Expertise includes: · Lean Manufacturing · Facilities/Capital Improvement · Six Sigma/Total Quality
