Recruited to stabilize, redevelop and re-deploy the deteriorating UNISYS Enterprise Security Services (ESS) Center of Excellence (COE). As the North American Int. Principal Architect for the ESS Group, I developed and managed a 16 member International IT Security practice. Which consisted of 3 regional consulting teams, 2 anywhere, anytime Emergency Response Road Warriors, and 2 Research and Development staff.The team and I interacted with several industry steering groups such as GIGA, and GARTNER providing extensive sanitized ITSEC Press materials. My responsibilities and authority level were: Conceptualized, designed, implemented, and support newly developed integrated solutions for client engagements.Worked with Internal Marketing Groups to position ESS as a recognized IT security industry expert in a specific technology (banking), and to use this status to generate profitable revenue and growth. Worked with sales and marketing groups to interface with the client’s highest technical executives (e.g., the CIO, Chief Technology Officer) to promote sales and partnerships. Oversaw the design and integration of leading-edge, and business critical solutions for major, enterprise-wide companies for multiple projects. Served as the IT Security Services & Technology mentor for other organizations within the company. Managed ESS and re-trained sales staff on how to properly find, qualify and negotiate the most optimal services and billing rates for service opportunity award. Increasing proposal win ratios from 1 in 17, to 1 in 8 in less than 8 months.Developed and implemented a successful individual customized reward system for those staff who identified additional follow-on services, or resolved newly discovered IT Security breaching processes that demonstrated UNISYS's IT Security Services to the business community.
