Through my more than thirty years of experience in both food service and retail I have developed many skills that will translate well to working in an office environment for a strong company. While some of the terminology may be different the principles are the same and these skills along with my maturity, work ethic and reliability would make me an ideal candidate for a position with your company.In each of my positions I have been responsible for:• Coding and posting accounts payable and accounts receivable• Preparing and tracking financial reports• Supervising several projects concurrently• Communicating with a variety of clients on a regular basis• Working alongside others to achieve positive results• Learning, understanding and following systems and procedures unique to each company• Making quick decisions to solve problems• Working with a sense of urgency to meet deadlinesI am currently enrolled at Tyler Junior College pursuing my Associate Degree in Business and will follow that at The University of Texas at Tyler studying to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Business. While following this course, it is my desire to move in to a job that both compliments these studies and builds a foundation for advancement after these studies are complete.
