Qa Tester: Tech TeamRaven Software May 2018 - Mar 2020Middleton, WisconsinI was chosen to join the Tech Team, a small team responsible for testing the technical side of development. This encompassed multiple projects, both announced and unannounced. For Black ops IV, I worked with the team to create performance reports for the Blackout gamemode. This required use of in game tools and Excel to generate reports that are sent to the developers. This enabled the developers to get the gamemode to run largely at 60FPS, which is an incredible achievement with a map that size.My other duties encompass unannounced projects. They include:Working with Perforce to compile and test potential changes for developers before they're submitted.Testing of tools and code bases during Engine integration and merging.Working with and testing in-house tools to find bugs and streamline the development pipeline.And lots more.

Qa Tester: Functional Pc - Call Of Duty: WiiRaven Software Oct 2017 - May 2018Middleton, WisconsinI was hand picked to move to the QA PC team, where we worked on the PC SKU. My platform of choice was the PC so this was a great experience for me. Using my knowledge of PC gaming, I was able to write PC specific bugs that improved the PC experience. These included control related bugs and even bugs that required very specific combination of graphical settings. At one point I was assigned to find a GPU related bug with an already shipped map that required 2 weeks of solitary play testing to solve.I enjoyed this project tremendously due to working on my preferred platform.
