Over 40 years in the logistics field. Began my career operating a forklift in a manufacturing facility and that lead to many opportunities as I have worked with some of the best in the field. Worked my way through the operations team and then onto the administration team. After several years I found my niche in IT where I could bring all my experiences to support the entire supply chain. After working with a great team at a software company that creates WMS, TMS, YMS, RMS, and a LMS I have decided to spend my last few years in the industry expanding my experiences. This includes helping companies begin to leverage their supply chain as well as help logistics based companies tune their systems to better support their operations. It’s a blessing to continue to work with the world class team building logistics applications as well as expanding and sharing my experiences in a consulting capacity. I started in logistics when I was 18 and as I approach 60, I cannot count the number of professionals that I have worked with and that have earned my respect. I also found that the logistics industry is a small world made up of some of the best leaders across all industries. I did not originally chose the logistics industry, honestly it chose me and I am humbled by all of the leaders that helped me learn not only how things work, but to how to work in ways that make the most of my talents. The number of mentors that took me under their wings is to big to list, but I thank them every day and I do my best to pay it forward.
