I have 10 years of working experience in the TV/Film industry as a Broadcast Designer and Special Effects Artist. I have worked on many Hollywood films and nationally televised TV productions and commercials. I have used various compositing software and video editing software over the years and have produced green screen shots. I have over 20 years of experience using Photoshop and Illustrator. I have 19 years of teaching high school art and media arts. I won the 2014 Otis College of Art and Design Teacher of the Year award which was given to only 4 art/media arts teachers throughout California. I have a broad range of skills including Drawing, Painting, Stained Glass design, Portfolio Development and Video Production/Youtube channel Production for Media Arts students. We have also introduced the schools first Makerspace Lab which includes Robotics, 3D printing, 3D pen creations, Woodworking, Stained Glass Design, Flip-book Animations, and Skateboard Design. My students have gone onto top art schools in the country such as RISD, Art Center College of Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, School of Visual Arts(NYC), Otis College of Art and Design, Fashion Institute of Technology(NYC), Parsons, USC School of Architecture and UCLA. My students are now game designers, graphic designers, architects, fashion designers, product designers, special effects artists, filmmakers, and toy designers. They working for companies such as Google and Adobe.
