Planned and managed approximately 35-40 team trucks daily and 120-200 team trucks on weekend shift. Responsibilities included but not limited to the following: safety above all, managing driver hours, planning load needs, communicating any needed changes to pick up and delivery times with account representatives and their customers, fuel management, making sure teams hit and or exceeded their planned miles in order to achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly revenue goals. Also provided information to teams with regards to any adverse road and weather conditions.

Outbound Operations Manager. Responsibilities included conducting pre-dispatch safety meeting with evening shift drivers, checking in day shift drivers, following up with any questions concerning service related issues on both delivery and pick up operations, supervising outbound sort operation as evening shift drivers returned to terminal, providing data entry clerks with all necessary paperwork from both day and evening operations, dispatched outbound freight and communicated this information to sort hubs in two locations

Hub Operations Manager. Performed many functions in this role. Originally a package handler until offered the opportunity to go through 12 week Boot Camp program to become a Hub Operations Manager. Supervised Box Input, Matrix and Purple Lights Document Sort. Worked with many other departments on a nightly basis to make sure inbound airfreight was sorted in a safe and timely manner. With Team Leaders we communicated inbound freight information, conducted pre-sort stretch and flex, communicated relevant company information, provided recognition to employees that exceeded goals and achievements, trained new hires, conducted rate checks to provide feedback on performance, and when necessary administered discipline up to and including suspension and termination. Also developed future team leaders and managers. Worked with peer managers through weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings. We established goals, reviewed previous operational successes and failures, and established plans for daily, weekly and monthly staffing needs
