Digital Project Manager
As a Digital Project Manager at Cengage Group, I oversaw the seamless delivery of digital higher education products in the World Language discipline across various learning management systems, orchestrating collaborative efforts between production and editorial teams, as well as external vendors. Tracking was performed via Jira tickets for all tasks and deliverables along with QA testing. This involved a meticulous focus on incorporating valuable stakeholder feedback through multiple levels of QA with external vendors and subject matter experts feedback, to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally, I took multiple initiatives to streamline my group’s workflows. I collaborated to create a bot program to build out our course master’s through an automated process using python scripts, savings hours of build time. I wrote multiple python scripts to streamline the building of HTML video assets as well as conversion scripts to convert video closed captioning and VTT files transcripts. I played a pivotal role collaborating with our accessibility group to ensure our eReaders were tagged correctly for text to speech readers and met accessibility requirements in my discipline, saving, and securing multiple adoptions of our titles. Wrote the original MindTap Process documentation for our group, which became the foundation of later added material.
