My primary directive was to synchronize the hot mill and cold draw production schedules to maximize yields, increase on-time delivery performance, and maximize equipment and resource utilization.

Charged with coordinating all manufacturing operations for the cold draw manufacturing facilities. Responsible for eighty-seven hourly employees and six department supervisors.

This involved preparing official specification reviews that identified raw material, manufacturing, testing, packaging, and shipping requirements for the production control department. This position also required active involvement in the development of the company ISO 9002 quality system at this site.

Charged with managing all quality control functions such as spectrographic analysis of metals, non-destructive testing standard fabrication and certification, destructive mechanical testing, writing job procedures, calibration and repair of inspection and test equipment, and metallographic specimen preparation and examination. Other duties included directing of all final inspection activities and training of final inspectors.

Entry level quality control position with the company. Duties included destructive testing of product, wet lab chemical / titration testing of pickling lines, and fabrication of nondestructive test standards for Eddy Current and Ultrasonic testing equipment.
