• Negotiated to onboard 4 global banks for FX trading that materially increased pricing competition with upgraded bank services.
• Played a key role in the refinance of the $1.3B senior secured notes and seamlessly actioned to execute hedges to mitigate the FX risk caused by the first issued EUR term loan ($350M).
• Designed and automated global transaction impact analysis that improved internal data sharing with 50% workload reduction.

• Led the implementation of a Pan-Asia cash management project that centralized financial services from 21 banks to 1, reduced bank accounts by 60%, saved bank fees by 50%, increased annual investment income by $2.
• Launched and integrated Treasury systems (360T, Reval and Misys) globally that saved the hedging cost by 30% and improved the operational efficiency by 50%. The project received Adam Smith Awards “2013 Best FX.

• Supervised cash management activities and banking/financial institution relationships in APAC and EMEA countries.
• Identified global foreign currency exposures, recommended strategies to manage risk, executed and settled currency derivatives.
• Coordinated with cross-functional teams to manage the global intercompany loan portfolio, cash repatriation initiatives and funding/investment activities.
• Reviewed hedge accounting documents/entries/reports to ensure FX transactions and derivatives are accounted for accurately.
• Oversaw international treasury teams to ensure they maintained compliance with internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley, and policies.
