I worked as an IT manager / Financial Analyst for a global agricultural identification company. I reported to the EMEA Financial Director. The work involved the migration of five separate companies to a single site whilst maintaining continuous operations prior to consolidation to a single trading entity. I was responsible for maintaining and integrating four IT systems, networks and call centres. Post consolidation, I was responsible for the implementation of Office 365 through the UK operations. I was responsible for financial analysis and reporting to both local board level management and higher groups as required. Both disaster recovery provisions and data protection compliance for the UK Group was within my duties.

I worked as an IT manager / Business Analyst for an agricultural manufacturing and wholesaling company. The work entailed upgrading and transforming the entire IT infrastructure through servers, telephony, manufacturing and reporting systems to ensure continued competitiveness in a previously traditional family owned company. Business analysis was a key requirement to ensure the company targeted future sales and markets to expand turnover and profitability. The company was taken over by the Allflex Group in 2014.

I worked as a Technical Design Analyst within BT Global Services (via Service Level Solutions agency). The work was for a very large scale transformation project (approx. 155,000 end users) using a converged MPLS data and telephony network for a nationwide government department. I produced LAN, WAN and IPT design documents incorporating CISCO networking equipment for a Nortel CS2K IP telephony project. Typical sites varied from 10’s of users to several 1000’s of users.

I managed the information technology within Müller Weingarten UK, reporting directly to the Managing Director. My role encompassed the strategic long-term planning and day-to-day administration of the company data and telephony networks. These networks included windows servers, fibre optic links, large format document scanning, CAD (Autodesk) and Avaya IP Office telephony.
