Serve as a trusted strategic advisor at all leadership levels both internally within Central IT, and externally with five Stanford schools and 12 administrative/auxiliary departments. Partner with leaders on academic and administrative business strategies, and help shape current and future use of information technology. Help accelerate campus’ longer-term IT objectives by seeking opportunities to leverage existing Central IT services. Understand campus partners’ business needs and shared perspectives on progressive business ideas and emerging technologies to help shape our portfolio of IT services.

Managed fourteen desktop support technicians to provide endpoint support services to schools and departments across the Stanford community, to include the Graduate School of Business, the School of Engineering, Stanford Earth, and the Office of General Counsel. Partnered with our client base to: develop short and long term benchmark strategies and KPIs, ensure service levels were met, and explore, plan and implement cost saving initiatives.

Directly managed four network operations personnel and one desktop support manager, indirectly led 26 desktop support employees. As a highly technical working manager, ensured >99% uptime of wired, wireless, and telecommunications network, as well 4,000 desktops and classroom peripheral devices. Used Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to successfully implement several large-scale telecommunications and desktop support projects that impacted multiple functional areas of the College.

Used Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to reduce process variation enterprise-wide in departments such as Operations, IT, and Sales & Account Management. With the assistance of Subject Matter Experts, leveraged Lean principles to identify waste in daily prescription processing.

Assisted in leading and directing a flight of 185 military, civilian, and contractor personnel in thirteen IT Communications work centers. Supervised quality assurance evaluation program, a contract worth $455 million. Managed end-to-end squadron deployment requirements for 225 military personnel, which prepared Airmen for worldwide deployment.
