I am a long term employee with a proven track record. An example of a data entry position involved entering five pages of forms into a state database from which information would be extracted for funding of private organizations serving the developmentally disabled, accuracy and short turn-around time was routine as fiscal time lines had to be adhered to.Experience has included on-the-job learning of work formerly done by senior clericals after they were discharged (budget cuts) and not being afraid to ask questions, improvise, make contacts in other departments I wasn't familiar with before being given new responsibilities. I was responsible for proctoring nursing tests for prospective nurses for school district, including scoring exams, and follow upwith Director, and Human Resources. Learning in-house software not normally used in work position except for new work assignments. Responsible for all computer related equipment in department for use in office and out-of-office and when service was required, first to answer to auditor for equipment location and if anything wasn't in designated location per inventory list. Maintained all record keeping needs including assignment of equipment per staff, office location, and passes for equipment to be removed from designated storage and eventual disposal. Work has included data entry, maintenance of data bases, front desk reception for walk-ins and phone calls, answering any questions possible to avoid transferring calls to staff when caller can be assisted.
