• Successfully supporting business change and improvements across North East, North West and Dumfries regions, using Prince 2 methodology to gather key information and to monitor progress, alongside management of risks and issues.• Effectively acting as an internal consultant/facilitator to meet and review business activities with Delivery Offices alongside Stakeholder groups including trade unions.• Gathering business information on current and projected volumes of Mail. Involving complex calculations and analysis of work flows, current & projected patterns of customer behaviour with regard to Mail. Aligning information with mapped routes, volume fluctuations and staffing profiles.• Ensuring key revisions and changes to operations are carried out within appropriate timescales against key milestones in the Prince Project Plan.• Checking that revised performance measures meet the projected business plan savings, quality standards and KPI’s.• Planning and assisting with new delivery methods and developing approach revisions into delivery units with a focus on health and safety.• Imparting business information to delivery office stakeholder group to enable them to make decisions on efficiency.• Contingency planning and accounting for risks such as flooding, severe weather, resource allocation and delivery office closures.• Attending stakeholder meetings, supporting the development of change plan and presenting alongside the Delivery Office Managers to North East Delivery Director for approval.• Communicating regularly with senior managers, business partners including HR, Finance, Quality and Health and Safety to ensure proposals and changes meet business goals and expectations.• Carrying out post implementation reviews with the Union, Delivery Office Managers and senior stakeholders to address challenges and ensure business improvements.
