Played central role in planning, implementing and supervising collection of agency record data as part of a large-scale longitudinal social science study. Collaboration with staff at various city, county, state and private agencies to assess data relevance/quality as well as secure data access and transfer. Responsible for large-scale data file management and project mapping/GIS analyses and applications, including use of GIS to represent and analyze cross-sectional neighborhood indicators (e.g., collective efficacy) using both secondary and primary data sources.

Directed research at a hospital-based, multidisciplinary assessment center designed to assess alleged cases of child abuse and neglect and provide services for those affected. This included grant funded research on the use of various diagnostic tools and interview methods and their effect on the reliability of information obtained. This work involved assessment of information gathering, data quality, and clinical practice, with an emphasis on measuring effectiveness against clinical, diagnostic, and legal standards.
