While employed with Wiser Company my responsibilities included the following:Compiling geographic feature of terrain data from orthophotographic imagery sources following detailed feature extraction guidelines. Performing topology checks and other data quality controls including but not limited to attribution checks, and managing associated documents. Documenting techniques for editing and manipulating geographic data. Performing digital feature extraction from multiple data sources. Attribute digital data accurately. Suggest and implement improved work methods. Understand and follow complex project specific guidance. Independently use technical resource documents and/or extraction guides.I have also passed a background check and was granted a SECERET security clearance while employed at Wiser Company.

While employed with Elpaso I was assigned as Lead Technician of theMississippi pipelines. My responsibilities involved maintaining and updating pipeline data to insure that the geographical location for above ground pipeline facilities were correct. I accomplish this by researching historical data and information supplied by the field offices. I was also responsible for maintaining the GeoWeb and Engineering Data Reports and insuring that they were correct and current. Included with my regular duties I am also working with all current state leads in a company wide data reconciliation project. This project covered over 8000 miles of pipeline across 7 states and multiple offshore facilities. The project required the state leads to inspect each pipeline map for inaccuracies. I corrected the data using Arc Map 9.3, Pipe View, and Microsoft Access to complete and update the progress on the data reconciliation project. Once corrected, I update and refreshed all related maps that were to be sent to the field offices for final approval.During the control points initiative I had worked multiple weeks of overtime to insure completion of the project by the deadline. I was told by the project manager during the final week of the project that I had done more than my share to aid in the project's completion, but I still came in on the last weekend to assist the rest of the team meet the deadline.

My duties included updating and maintaining a geographical information system database in Power Delivery Mapping. This was done by using Engineering Work Estimates and GIS software such as ESRI Arc Map 8.3, ArcFm, Arc Info to properly place wire layout and electrical devices in the database as related to real world locations. I also used AutoCAD to create an underground residential distribution drawing that gave the proper location for wire layout and device placement for new subdivisions. Once the drawing was completed, I updated all Access documentation that informs the division engineers of the changes, new location, and drawing name of the new subdivision. Additional responsibilities were to QA/QC the database by receiving and updating Excel documentation on the discrepancies of new data that was to be added to the geo-database. During storm duty I supported our project managers by using our acquired data to assist field crews in the restoration of power as quickly as possible. This was accomplished by using mobile devices in the field capable of supplying all crews with current maps and information on all electrical feeders in the area and to insure that any changes in the field were immediately updated into the database.

Responsible for designing and drawing decorative structures and landscaping items made of limestone, marble, and granite. This required assisting the CNC operator in the programming of the CNC machine to cut the stone into the designed shapes by assigning the tools and their cutting paths in the Breton cam, and Alpha cam software. This also involved collecting field measurements to insure proper size and placement of items. I was also responsible for receiving the design templates created by the field crews. Once I received the rough design I would refine and create templates that the stone cutters could use to make the various stone structures.
