About John Martin Miol

Operations Manager by day, a professional coffee drinker by necessity. I once tried to schedule a meeting without a coffee break – never again. "Let’s just say, chaos ensued faster than you can say 'lean efficiency.'"I've got experience in both the military and civilian sectors and a solid record as an operations manager who gets things done. I'm all about operational planning, project management, and ensuring things are safe, plus I've got a mix of strategic leadership, team management, and technical skills. I've got certifications in IOSCM, Scrum, Lean Sigma, and NEBOSH, and I've consistently delivered top-notch solutions in challenging environments. Outside of work, I am passionate about supporting veteran welfare and creating inclusive work cultures through my leadership roles. In January 2023, I founded the East Cleveland Veterans and Services Group, which will eventually become a Community Interest Company (CIC). The group aims to provide support for veterans and blue light services in areas such as mental health, job opportunities, home help, drugs and alcohol support, and financial assistance. Additionally, in June 2023, I established the Saltburn by the Sea Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club intending to end isolation within the veteran community.
