Led team of five audit managers and 41 installation auditors through the performance of 13 enterprise-level audit engagements, identifying material weaknesses in the Department of the Air Force financial and operational processes, $41 million in potential savings, and operational gaps in weapon system design and delivery. Used strategic vision to establish long-term audit plans with Headquarters Air Force senior leadership to address gaps in major weapon system and space acquisitions; research and development, test, and evaluation activities; science and technology programs; small business advocacy and compliance; and contracting functions.Additionally, my team and I pioneered the Audit Agency's first-ever continuous auditing tool, using data analytics to automate the evaluation of over 2.5 million transactions and over $100 million in spending per year. Designed continuous audit policies, processes, tools, and templates to be used to support the execution of continuous audits across the Air Force Audit Agency.

Led audit engagements at the Air Staff level on special projects and programs (classified). Build automated audit tools on the Qlik data analytics platform leading the organization to a continuous audit capability. Air Force Audit Agency lead on the Department of the Air Force COVID-19 Task Force. Tracked and evaluated audits related to disaster relief, identifying common problems with governmental administration, and designed and developed an analytics tool to track over $20 billion in COVID-19 relief funds for enhanced visibility, transparency, and potential fraudulent transactions.

Competed and won 1st place in the University of Dayton New Venture Creation competition; a multi-continent competition with over 200 teams competing securing $60,000 in funding. Prototyped new product for bicycling market and selected ambassadors for testing to validate new technology. Collaborated with several local small businesses to secure a manufacturing network and worked diligently with mentors for the Dayton Entrepreneur Center and University of Dayton Research Institute to establish critical supply chain and distribution partnerships. Designed and developed advertising content to create strong brand appeal and recognition. Deployed advertising campaigns through social media channels and emerging technology applications, coupled with in-person, grass roots marketing events to grow brand recognition. Grew revenues to over $90k in first two-years on market. Led the budgeting, financial analysis, and state and federal financial reporting processes.

Consultant for United States Air Force and DoD agencies on federal acquisition management, cost analysis, and efficiency and effectiveness studies and analyses. Worked with Guidehouse project team to develop acquisition documentation (acquisition strategy, program protection, test strategy, etc.) for F-15EX program. Managed Microsoft Project schedule to ensure all tasks for strategy development were completed within planned milestones, receiving approval of program documentation by the Air Force Senior Acquisition Executive. Led competitive analysis on defense contractor in pursuit of $12 billion contract. Co-created technical response to a $100 million contract addressing condition-based maintenance solution for aging aircraft. Promoted the integration of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent automation into the aging aircraft's software and supporting logistics systems to track and predict component failure to reduce aircraft downtime and streamline logistics support.

Led AF enterprise wide audits focused on acquisition, contracting, and lifecycle logistics. Led audit teams through the development of audit plans and execution of each engagement. Performed root cause analyses to identify inefficiencies in government policies and processes, and developed recommendations to prevent reoccurrence. Leveraged business intelligence tools to harness big data sets and enhance the ability to visualize data outliers for more in-depth analysis. Built relationships with clients to attract future work for the Audit Agency.Led six audit teams through engagements identifying significant impacts on Air Force operations and generating wide capability and resource gains. Made recommendations to Air Force senior leadership that resulted in over $240 million in savings.

Produced 20 audit reports with making impacts on installation and MAJCOM level programs and resulting in savings totaling over $27 million.Designed comprehensive audit programs, utilizing statistical sampling techniques to provide reasonable assurance to audit clients on assigned audits. Utilized data analytic capabilities within MS Office suite to analyze large data sets to isolate sample for transaction level testing.

Assisted accountants in day-to-day accounting procedures, including: bookkeeping; reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable; performing monthly account reconciliation; and conducting fixed asset audits. I also had to contact customers and vendors to either collect or pay outstanding receipts and mitigate any negative responses.
