Mr. Mathena currently leads JM2 Capital which provides business consulting and wealth management services. JM2 is dedicated to partnering with businesses, non-profits and high net worth individuals/families to align their strategy, processes and people to realize their desired outcomes. Prior to JM2 Capital, he was the managing director and president of Weir-Mathena. The Mathena line was a core business within The Weir Group’s – oil and gas division. Weir is an international engineering solutions company with over 14,000 employees located across 70 countries.From 2005 to 2012, Mr. Mathena provided leadership as the president and CEO of Mathena, Inc. He was responsible for directing the overall strategy and executing against a succinctly designed operational framework. His keen ability to see a vision and develop a plan for implementation allowed the company to experience exponential growth over his tenure.Prior to Mathena, he provided leadership to The Williams Companies as the director of supply chain management. During his time at Williams, he managed over $300 million in annual spend across numerous business units and commodity groups. From 1994 to 2000, Mr. Mathena developed an expertise in strategy and process execution as a consultant for Accenture. As a senior manager, he was afforded the opportunity to consult across North America and Europe with a focus on process reengineering within supply chain management and customer order to cash practices. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Mathena enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and working out. He is very active in his church as a bible study teacher and serves on several non-profit and private company boards.
