I've been in the nuclear industry for 44 years and have now retired from the NDA, but continuing my consultancy. I'm a Health Physicist by profession and have been involved in radioactive waste issues since joining Nirex in 1990. On the consultancy side I'm working with Prospect Law who specialise in nuclear legal and regulatory issues; I provide advice primarily on the infrastructure set ups on nuclear and radwaste in other countries. I've also undertaken a number of tasks with the IAEA, including workshops on the costing and financing of decommissioning and radioactive waste management, and integrated nuclear infrastructure reviews.I'm also a Director and the Secretary of the Waste Management Symposia Inc. which runs the largest radwaste management conference in the world.
