John G. Maxwell joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1982 and was admitted to the partnership in 1992. With over thirty years of experience serving consumer products and retail clients, John's clients have included Kellogg, Unilever, PepsiCo, Nike, Colgate-Palmolive, General Mills, Mars, Campbell Soup, Reckitt Benckiser, Sara Lee, Kraft, Tiffany, Movado, Liz Claiborne, and the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. Currently based in the New York, NY office. John has also served PwC clients while resident in the London and Minneapolis offices.John leads PwC's Global Retail & Consumer industry sector which includes coordinating client service from all lines of service as well as developing thought leadership, knowledge management, training and managing trade association relationships. Actively involved in professional affairs, John is a member of the New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon and New Jersey Society of CPAs, a member of the Grocery Manufacturing Association (GMA) Associate Member Council and leads PwC's support of GMA's CFO share group. He also speaks frequently at executive conferences and has published numerous articles regarding the consumer and retail industry sector.A member of PricewaterhouseCoopers US Board of Partners and Principals since 2007, John was elected on July 1, 2011 as the Lead Director of the Board. In 2009 he was elected to the Global Board of Partners and in June 2013 was elected as the Chairman of the Global Board of Partners.John graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a B.S. in Accounting. He has also attended education programs at Dartmouth's Tuck School, Harvard Business School, and the University of Virginia's Darden School of Management.
