As I reflect on my upbringing, schooling, and career, I have come to realize that the primary driving force behind many of my decisions has been the desire for personal growth and overcoming challenges. I come from a humble background and have faced numerous obstacles that have shaped my character and perspective.Being one of the first in my family to attend college, I encountered a lack of resources and support in navigating this new environment. Initially majoring in biology, I soon recognized the need for a greater intellectual and professional challenge, leading me to switch to chemistry with a minor in mathematics. Additionally, I pursued 32 business credit hours to enhance my understanding of the corporate world. While college provided me with a wealth of knowledge, the most valuable skills I acquired were the ability to establish strong relationships and communicate effectively, which have proved instrumental in my daily work.Throughout my career, effective communication has consistently been one of my strongest assets. Whether it is providing global technical support or efficiently managing a team, the skill of effective communication has facilitated successful projects and cultivated strong professional relationships. Starting my career in the oil and gas industry with no prior knowledge in the field, I embraced the challenge eagerly. My initial role in the hydraulic fracturing lab involved providing technical global support and engaging in research and development. Over the course of 12+ years, I have had the privilege of overseeing multimillion-dollar projects on an international scale, fostering exceptional relationships with colleagues across the world, and traveling extensively to support global operations. These experiences have continually contributed to my personal and professional growth.My entry into the workforce was driven by a determination to seek out challenges and I am enthusiastic about continuing this journey, as it has been one of utmost fulfillment and achievement.
