I love teaching. It's as simple as that. Being able to impart knowledge to students, knowing this can help them in the future, really makes me yearn to go further.And I like to have fun with it too by making learning interesting. So I am able to capitalise on certain delivery methods that complement opportunities for students such as video content, online games and tools, as well as peer integration activities.My belief is that good teaching needs to be integrated to develop student learning with an awareness of the Lecturer of what is being delivered beyond our own modules. It means learning should be holistic and include social, cultural and broad inter-textual experiences.Having worked at a senior level in industry in both public and private sector organisations across the UK and the USA, I know what it takes to survive and thrive in the world outside academia.As well as all of the above, I pick up new skills and adapt to ever-changing circumstances quickly and easily, turning my hand to pretty much anything that is thrown at me.
