Responsibilities included:1) Global Accounts – managing a team of people and supporting global colleagues in the contract negotiation with our 100 biggest clients (which represented 36% of total revenues). Providing support for 15 global account managers who managed the account of the 35 biggest clients (Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, JPM, Barclays etc)..

Responsibility for finance and administration matters to take pressure off the Exec Director who headed up the global groups that managed Marketing, Operations and Development. Tasks Included Budget reviews/Special Ops/ROI evaluations and representing him on numerous Internal Committees.

I worked in Supasnaps (Photographic Division). This role had overall responsibility for all budgeting and forecasting for the company as well as supporting Operational Directors in finance matters. Providing financial outputs for product and price promotions in conjunction with the Marketing Dept. As part of the Change program I Produced a Stores.

The role was working with a multi disciplined team to review operations and processes primarily at the main factories and processing sites around the UK and Ireland. In essence this was an internal management consulting capability. As a result of a substantial review of the Photographic Division a major change program was initiated and I accepted a role in.

This role was with Coopers and Lybrand who were bought by PWC. I joined in a Tax Senior role but this did not work for me. Then transferred to Management Consulting Services (MCS) where I fulfilled the role of Finance Director alongside other colleagues in the turnaround of a Dairy Production business.

The Company was Leon Johnstone and Co CA which was bought by HLB. I served my Chartered Accounting apprenticeship with a medium sized practice in Glasgow. Mainly working in the audit function and producing accounts from incomplete records and producing tax computations.
