About John Mcfarlane
I am a qualified Survival Equipment Technician and manager with 27 yrs experience in this field. I was most recently employed as a Training Designer within the Royal Navy where I was re designing all courses for the Air Engineering Survival Equipment Branch. I produced all Learning Specifications, Role Scalars, Learning Scalars and trade related assessments. I also ensured all courses were DSAT compliant having to follow strict rules and regulations from various publications. Previously I was the Survival Equipment Manager looking after a team of middle managers and all students who attended courses at the Air engineering School. I have just recently left the Royal Navy after 27 yrs and during this time gained many qualifications including a level 6 Diploma in Leadership and Management and NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety. I have recently joined Mitie Facilities Management in Portsmouth DSTL and looking forward to this new challenge.
