Ongoing enhancement and development of the business resilience framework and provision of associated guidance and tools to support the business

Responsibilities: To solve problems before they become Issues by -- Strengthening risk governance, reporting and oversight processes within Wealth Finance.- Embedding the ANZ Operational Risk Management Framework (commencing last year) into Insurance and Global Pensions and Investments business units.- Performing regulatory and compliance assurance activities, delivering ahead of schedule.- Targeting control deficiencies, perform deep dive analytical reviews, design remediation strategies and implement (with the control owners) agreed treatment plans, perform risk reporting and education

Responsibilities:- Plan, co-ordinate and lead the control assurance program for ING Australia Limited with particular emphasis on the Sarbanes Oxley 404 (SOX) requirements.- Implement design and effectiveness risk testing programs across the whole of INGA processes and rectify deficiencies. Resulted in a reduction of material control deficiencies from over one hundred to less than ten- Assess and communicate test results and remediation activities to INGA executive management, Board members communication of all outcomes to ING Group, NV.

Responsibilities:- Drive the implementation of ING Group and ING Australia Limited risk initiatives- Develop and implement INGA’s risk process, policy and framework. Rated by APRA as having one of the best Risk Management Frameworks for an Insurer in Australia at that time.- Assess and communicate risk management developments and issues to INGA executive management
