Since 1995, I have specialized in designing energy efficient, occupant-focused Medical, Corporate Office, Recreational and Educational facilities. I currently serve as Project Manager for Medical/Hospital sites in the State of Wisconsin, as well as working with the local YMCA, Salvation Army and the State of Wisconsin on various building projects.     SInce 2007, I have been involved in planning an annual Head Shaving event for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, an event that has experienced nothing short of remarkable success. Our initial intent was to start a trend among friends and encourage people to participate in a meaningful event, and we raised over $7000.00. Since that initial event, we've grown to an event annually hosting over 1000 people, shaving in excess of 200 beautiful heads, and raising over $225,000.00. 2013 marks a new poitn in this journey as several of our regular participants, including myself, will become "Knights of the Bald Table" a designation bestowed upon shavees who have shaved their heads for (7) straight years! I'm lloking forward to sharing this honor with the many great volunteers I've come to know and love, and with all of the families that we have helped in this time span.

    Accepted a board of director position as the new Race Director, for the Organization's annual Fund-raising Race, the Gold Ribbon Run. The Gold Ribbon Run is a The “Gold Ribbon Run/Walk” is a fun, family oriented event that includes a 2 mile and/or 5 mile run or walk for all age groups and skill levels. The event has enjoyed a great level of success in recent years, even when the weather is less than favorable hosting an average of 600 participants. The race uses timing chips for all participants. Responsibilities include - coordinating all volunteers, event promotion, obtaining corporate sponsorships, setting up registration processes, obtaining permissions for the event from local park and recreation department, fire and police department, obtaining medical professionals to assist with on site medical concerns (if needed), and organizing the participant medals and trophies. The Families of Children with Cancer organization is a non-profit agency supported by tax-deductible contributions and fundraising activities. The FOCWC provides funding for summer camp for children with Cancer, several social outings, support for children after clinic visits, a resource library for patients and limited financial resources for those families struggling with the financial burden of medical care.
