The 4.0AD Services Acquisition Team (SAT) improves quality of services acquisition, reduces services contracting cycle time and helps return members of the technical workforce to direct support of Fleet readiness and sustainability by managing services contract activities on behalf of requirement owners. From requirements definition to contract execution and management, the team uses a consolidated and coordinated application of existing tools, processes, policies and strategies to oversee/coordinate services acquisition for the NAWCAD Research and Engineering Group.

I lead the strategic communication planning and execution efforts of the Naval Air Systems Command's Research and Engineering Group -- approximately 8,000 scientists and engineers working with and for Naval Aviation's aquisition programs and research teams to support the Warfighter with air-based capability: weapons and platforms in a systems of systems approach.

The Naval Aviation Center for Rotorcraft Advancement was a small, multi-disciplined, broadly experienced team working across the Rotorcraft community to help identify and develop technologies that could help the current and future rotorcraft Fleet. Specific duties, in addition to day-to-day oversight of team operations, centered on leading a small team that used a mix of strategies, tools and techniques to enable NACRA (teams and individuals) to collectively and systematically create/capture, retain, develop, share and apply knowledge in support of overall and individual objectives and sustainable future planning.

Responsible for leading, training and developing a team of Defense acquisition public affairs specialists serving the aviation research, development and acquisition command for the Department of the Navy. Directly supported the commander, a 3-star admiral, with media analysis, communication planning/execution and crisis communication training.

Director of Public Affairs for all Marine Corps installations in the Hawaiian islands. Responsible for media and community relations efforts.

Taught Journalism to more than 600 U.S. and foreign military students (enlisted and officer), as well as commanding the Fort Benjamin Harrison Marine Detachment (Responsible for administration of Marines attending three joint service schools)

PAO for the "Pitbulls of the Pacific" as well as the 9th Marine Expeditionary Brigade stationed on Okinawa, Japan. Also collaterally served as the Community Relations Officer for Marine Corps Base, Camp Smedley D. Butler, the largest Marine Corps Base outside of the United States.
