Technical Service Manager
CurrentThe purpose of this position is to professionally manage Field Service (on-site) and remote (phone support) Technical Service assignments on new installations and overhauls of Locomotive projects worldwide. I work in coordination with Sales, Product Engineering, Project Managers and Project Engineers to successfully manage projects.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Monitoring and facilitating schedule execution on time.• Monitor and expedite support contracts.• Coordinate and facilitate to resolve customer and product based issues• Help maintain Engineering and production standards• Provide service of all equipment installations and overhauls as needed.• Correctly manage on-site project time, cost and reduce constraints from the time of opportunity identification to the time of final invoicing and project closure.• Complete ownership of Services projects (financial/schedule).• Communicate with client during projects, relative to costs and on-site job progress.• Conduct Root Cause Analyses and identify corrective and preventative actions on customer complaints and non-conformances.
