I have over 12 years experience in Commercial Banking and a further 8 years in Business Banking.I look after SME's who have a turnover of between £2m - £50m and with a range of B2B clients including Transport & Logistics, Facilities Management, Construction, Plant Hire, Oil, Gas & Mining and Serviced Offices & Apartments.I am keen on building relationships with clients, in addition to their day to day banking needs I am looking to understand the risks their businesses face and their future strategies & ambitions. Having been a Relationship Manager within Business and Commercial Banking for 14 years I was looking to development my skills and took the opportunity of a 2 year secondment within the bank's Business Risk and Controls departments. This involved looking at various areas of risk that the bank faces and putting in place plans and training to help reduce/mitigate these risks. This has enabled me to have a more detailed discussions with clients around risks that they face on a a day to day basis.
