I provide legal advice and representation on a variety of issues affecting life insurance, annuity, disability, and long-term care carriers and broker-dealers, including with regard to suspecting fraud/policy rescissions, lapse issues, benefit eligibility, bad faith litigation, and death claims contested by multiple purported beneficiaries, among others. I also provide advice with regard to regulatory issues facing carriers and broker-dealers, and represent carriers in interactions with state departments of insurance, specifically with regard to market conduct examinations and response to consumer complaints. I also develop and present training programs to various insurers' claims departments regarding current trends in claims litigation.
