Promoted to General Manager Role to develop and grow the Workout World retail business in Southern California along with establishing a wholesale network across the United States while assisting with international sales from our Australian head office. The position was made redundant and U.S. Operations ceased when the Workout World brand was purchased by the Super Retail Group in Australia.

With the Workout World Group (WW) I directly oversaw operations and the explosive growth of the WW retail sites across Australia as well as develop and mentored the Avanti Fitness commercial sales division. During this time Workout World was the largest fitness equipment retailer in Australia and was considered one of the top five performing fitness retailers world wide. At its peak retail sites numbered at 36 different locations across the Australia as well as commercial offices and warehousing in Australia, New Zealand and United States.

Promoted to set up and manage what was at the time the largest dedicated commercial showroom in Australia and assist in kick starting the direct commercial sale side of the Avanti Fitness Group in Australia while also operating and managing the retail side of the location. The development of this showroom and operational success paved way to Avanti Fitness securing the Australian/New Zealand dealer rights to leading international brands like Precor® and later TuffStuff® and Octane® Fitness.

Manage and operate the retail showroom. At the time under my management this location was the top performing retail store in the national Workout World group. I was responsible for the direct sales of the store while in charge of training and development of all new staff and franchisees when they joined the group.
