Responsible for technical and financial operations and delivery to continue growing an international centre of excellence and scale in solid state circuit design and applications. Work with MCCI scientific leaders to ensure a focus on research excellence, international impact and the development of the microelectronics talent pipeline in Ireland. More broadly deliver national and international research leadership and technology foresight, and alignment of other relevant national centres and with government policies and initiatives. Provide promotion of the Irish microelectronics sector on the global stage providing the platform that will encourage world class technology to be developed and transferred from academic to industrial partners, with appropriate support from funding agencies in Ireland and the EU. Creation of strategic collaborations with high quality research groups world-wide and manage MCCI projects with academic participants across Ireland. MCCI (Microelectronic Circuits Centre Ireland) is a national large-scale Technology Centre funded by Enterprise Ireland and the IDA and hosted by Tyndall National Institute.
