I was requested to work at site on the Center Pit Network Expansion project. This involved the construction of two Comm buildings and two 100 meter fixed towers, 20 solar trailers, 2 mobile Comm towers, 3 mobile security gates. Being familiar with most of the disciplines, my role was a subject matter expert on installation of the telecom equipment on these.Getting work packages ready for the foremen and technicians.Preparing and responding to RFI's. Delegating RFI's to head office if required.Preparation of all final redlines from construction and commissioning.Attended walkdowns with the client on all disciplines, highlighting and clearing punches from walkdowns in a prompt manner, with agreed solutions.Scoping and compiling turnover packages.Conducting surveys of existing equipment for the purpose of fitting in new equipment into existing cabinets, proposing solutions on these.Closing out vendor documents from several vendors.Attending FAT's.Closing out project with As-building of all necessary project deliverables. Delegation and tracking of all the final Deliverables.

Involved in the BLAN, Solar Trailer, Mobile Comm Tower, Fixed Comm Tower, Mine Wireless design on Baseplant.From Telecoms cabinets out to end devices such as Cisco Access Points, Redline equipment, Aviat equipment.Preparation of Security and CCTV Engineering/Material FEED estimate for Meadowcreek.Preparation of Drawings, Documents and Specifications of above disciplines.Interfacing with company colleagues to ensure each discipline relates correctly to each other through such procedures as Squad Checks.Interfacing with the client.Interfacing with various vendors to ensure compatibility of field devices with the head end equipment.Attending FAT’s to ensure construction of cabinets reflect the design and resolve any conflicts.Responding to RFI’s from construction and commissioning in a prompt manner.Preparation of Site Redlines from Markups from commissioning teams.Preparation of As-Builts for all Telecom Systems from both FAT and Site commissioning teams .Analyze and assess telecom systems design and identify gaps leading to potential improvements. Worked mainly on Kearl, Fort Hills and Baseplant projects. Worked on the security design of over 100 buildings on Fort Hills. From Cabinet design to security devices such as E-strike, pushbars, maglocks, card readers, vehicle barriers, muster points, gates, indoor and outdoor cameras, both fixed and PTZ, multiple types of mounting.Preparation of Security Access Control, CCTV, PAGA, VoIP/BLAN Drawings, Documents and Specifications.Interfacing with company colleagues to ensure each discipline relates correctly to each other through such procedures as Squad Checks.Interfacing with the client to ensure their system needs are fulfilled.Interfacing with various vendors to ensure compatibility of field devices with the head end equipment.Attending FAT’s to ensure construction of cabinets reflect the design and resolve any conflicts.Responding to RFI’s from construction and commissioning in a prompt manner.Preparation of Site Redlines from Markups from commissioning teams.Preparation of As-Builts for all Telecom Systems from both FAT and Site commissioning teams.
