I am passionate about aviation and have a true love of flying. I am grateful that my job allows me to not only fly, but also to serve those I work with and the customers I fly for. I began my career as a flight instructor in 2017 after graduating college. Since then, I have continually worked on growing myself and increasing my skills and abilities. In 2020 I was given the opportunity to serve as Chief Flight Instructor over all training courses, and built a FAR 141 training program. From writing syllabi, ensuring compliance with regulations, and completing the application process with the FAA, I was able to secure a 141 Air Agency Certificate for the school. As the Chief Flight Instructor, I focused on the importance of structure, standardization, safety culture, and working as a team. In 2022 I was hired as a civilian contractor and fly for various departments of the US Navy. As a contractor I participate in many airborne training exercises ranging from research and development, air-to-air defense, and ship defense. The dynamic and precise nature of this type of flying has strengthened my mentality toward risk mitigation and safety of flight, resource management, and decision making. My strong work ethic and desire for excellence has played a large role in how I approach my work. I desire to give my best efforts toward every task, whether big or small. I am proud to have played a part in instilling strong airmanship skills in so many students and helping to strengthen our military forces, and I look forward to continuing to make an impact in the aviation industry as my career continues.
