Aug 2017 - present: I'm a global MSD subject matter expert in the Sterilisation area covering Steam, Dry Heat, Irradiation, VHP and other Sterilisation processes. In this roll I provide SME level support to the global MSD organisation. I also have a lead roll in supporting major MSD projects from capital projects to software infrastructure (paperless validation system).Jul 2013 – Aug 2017: Validation Engineer • I was the MSD Lead for the Autoclave Qualification Group. I've presented on these in both FDA and HPRA audits.• I was the MSD Lead for the Mobile Vessel SIP Qualification Group. I've presented on these in both FDA and HPRA audits.Feb 2011 – Jul 2013: Validation Engineer• I was a project team member for the Loads Definition Group, this involved sitting as part of a cross functional team. To do this, an in-depth knowledge of all activities within the Component Preparation and other areas was required.• I was the team lead for the CCI (Container Closure Integrity) Validation. This team qualified all closures / junctions within the sterile boundary.Sept 2008 – Feb 2011: Process Engineer• I was the Process Engineer responsible for the design, installation and Qualification of the equipment installed in the Component Preparation Suite. I was the Suite Team Facilitator for this area which involved the coordination of a multi-functional team up to the Operational Commissioning phase. As a Suite Team Members we performed a key roll within the site team in the transition from site installation in Carlow through C&Q and handover to Operations.• As the Process Engineer responsible for the design of this equipment I organised and coordinated FAT sessions for this equipment (in Estonia, Italy and France) and Process Building Units which comprised of multi-functional teams of Merck and non-Merck people. Jan 2006 - Jun 2008: Process Engineer• I was responsible for implementing key process improvements on manufacturing equipment in the Fill Finish area. My main area of responsibility was in manufacturing support.• Presented to the FDA during an audit regarding investigation reports.
