A startup business from the Manchester Science Park (Chromition) have developed a radical new innovation (Luminspheres) for the identification of and authentication of poymers, high value finished products and the raw materials such as fibers , polymers , dyes and chemicals used for textiles which are now been marketed on an exclusive basis for industrial use by “Molecular Marking Limited”Luminsperes are carbon-based nontoxic materials free of heavy metals which emit light brighter than incumbent fluorophores, which can be tuned to any wavelength in the visible spectrum offering an infinite number of multicoloured optical codes which can be authenticated by using a readily available portable detector An initial benefit is the authentication of high value products such as perfumes, currency, spirits , casino chips as Luminspheres are printable on various substrates (textiles, glass, plastic, paper, aluminum) and can be authenticated by an easy on the spot test eliminating cheaper fake copies ensuring brand reputation, trust and integrity is maintained. With regards to the environmental benefits as Luminspheres are non-migratory and readily formulated into water and inks and various polymers (e.g. PP, PE, PS, PET, PC) having no impact on colouration, handle or shade. Potential environmental benefits with regards to textiles include: -•Specification of Dyes and Chemicals•Recycling of Polymers and Textiles•Identification and Authentication of Polymer Blends (for example contains 50% recycled polyester)Summary Luminspheres are a cutting edge development adapted from its initial use in medical bio imaging for industrial use offering the potential benefits of overt or covert authentication of raw materials and finished products ensuring that brand reputation and integrity is retained whilst having the potential to increase the speed and efficiency of recycling by an on the spot test utilising a readily available portable detector.

Responsibilities include Health and Safety, R&D, Sustainability, Quality Control and Quality Assurance across two manufacturing sites.

To drive the global technical network particularly related to the development, coordination and leadership of our sales / technical training program with the objective of increasing sales and with an additional responsibility to ensure clear links between brand collaboration related to ZDHC and and the Commercial team.To identify business requirements needed for technical training across the organization working closely with the commercial and marketing organizations to ensure that a structured training program is put into place.To fully participate in the sales training program steering committee and provide support and advice to ensure the commercial force are adequately equipped to drive sales growth.To implement a University out-reach programs, to get up-and-coming textile specialists familiar and working with Huntsman materials.

Brought in to deliver a high profile project based on a background of delivering projects in difficult circumstances due to the urgent need to reengineer the global manufacturing footprint and transfer the key supply chain, product management roles to Asia.. •Successfully recruited internally and motivated a cross functional and multicultural team to deliver the project. Initiated the transfer of 300 products to new manufacturing sites in Asia, Americas and Europe. Managed the knowledge transfer issues .

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • As a member of the Leadership Team of the SBU Vice President, Contribute to the implementation of the business plans and full success of the strategic market unit• Lead the shared technical resources across segments within geographical area according to business priorities• Coordinate the launches of new products in a geographical area and as such have a close relationship and partnership with the research and technology organization• Drive cost in an effective manner according to the cost to serve model by business • Recruit, train and develop the competencies of technical specialists• Ensure full availability of promotional material in the right quantity and language in the appropriate country• Ensure execution in a timely and accuracy manner of the technical lab work in line with the business priorities

• Responsible for leading the operational marketing strategy across Europe and managing 3 technical centres of excellence based in Turkey, Germany and Czechoslovakia• Providing management and support to a team of 75 staff including 15 mobile technical specialists • Generating and delivering 24m Euros of new sales growth initiatives and supporting 300m Euros of sales• Interfacing with product management and marketing to ensure all business requirements and priorities are met accordingly• Holding an additional role as Global Business Director, leading a Global business segment for wool with sales of 55m USD

• Developing and implementing the sales strategy for the UK to maximise profitable sales and develop new business opportunities• Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the UK sector with a turnover of £10.0m, whilst also providing management and support to a team of 15 staff members
