I oversaw the technology and systems operations within the Hospitality Division of the Howard Hughes Corporation, a publicly traded Real Estate Development company. Notable elements of the current hospitality portfolio under my purview encompass hotels and restaurants located in the Woodlands, Texas, as well as the renowned Las Vegas Ballpark and Las Vegas Aviators. Additionally, I am involved in the re-development of the Seaport District neighborhood in New York City, which encompasses The Rooftop at Pier 17, the Pier 17 Rooftop Summer Concert Series, 4 different fine dining restaurants, the Tin building, and various retail experiences at the seaport. Overseeing the Tin Building Build-out project was also part of my responsibilities, entailing the creation of a food court, retail shops, and eight different restaurants. A significant aspect of this endeavor involved the development and launch of a new Tin Building ordering app. Collaborating closely with multiple teams, including the OPS team, POS vendor, retail vendor, Marketing team, app Design team, and App development firm, I ensured the successful implementation of this innovative solution.

 Supervised the workflow of 11 analysts and technicians for Quality Assurance, System Performance and Desktop Support for 28 venues and 2500 users.  Oversaw Helpdesk, user support, technical operations, systems, and provide direction, guidance training to IT staff. Also managed enterprise IT infrastructure and elevated them to ensure compliance with the company’s policies as well as reducing security risks.  A key part of my responsibility is to be able to discuss and present to non-technical management and staff and being capable of communicating technical issues in a non-technical manner. I developed and implemented strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure growth (computer and information systems, security, communication systems) while supporting the implementation of strategies set by C-Suite and ownership. I worked towards managing cloud-based IT infrastructures with direct experience with MS Azure. Used my knowledge of ITIL, and PMP frameworks in deployment and utilizations to improve Service and everyday projects. I managed and tracked the IT department’s annual budget of $11 million annually; purchased efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software. Acted as the corporation's PCI Security Officer to support protection of Credit card compliancy and enforce cybersecurity measures. I vetted and implemented new E-commerce channels to increase revenue. Instituted previously nonexistent project management guidelines within the organization to improve the ability to meet deadlines, budgets, system upgrades, software implementations and other objectives. Devised and established IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management and to improve internal processes and enhance productivity.  Collaborated with upper management in building relationships with IT vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts; re-negotiated contracts to stay within or below budget.

Initially hired as a Help Desk Representative prior to being promoted into project leadership and professional services role.  Delivered 1000+ re-programming projects, including leading several high profile projects for the USOPEN, Waldorf Astoria, Loews Hotel and Resorts, MET Museum, Philly Museum of Art, New York Botanical Garden, Bronx Zoo, JP Morgan, HSBC Bank, and multiple JFK terminals. Designed and facilitated 2 day training sessions for senior leaders on POS system functionality in order for leadership to effectively train and manage administrators.  Recognized as the Employee of the Year in 2004 for superior project work and customer service delivery.
