Responsible for: overseeing and coordinating all budgeting, material take-offs, preparation of quotes/estimates. Coordinating multiple projects and scheduling directly with engineers, designers, management, utility companies, subcontractors and vendors. Positive and professional interaction with Town and County agencies, to secure proper permits and inspections. Closely overseeing and leading construction teams to ensure completion of work in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining company quality standards and budgets. Monitoring project implementation through completion of construction, including but not limited to, adhering to budgets, resolving conflicts and scheduling according to client specifications. Preparing all construction related contracts/forms, bidding and closeout of assigned projects.Routine inspection of all construction work to assure that job schedules are maintained and that work is being performed consistent with code, customer specifications and design criteria.Positive interaction with leaders as needed to assure for continuity, progress and successful project development. Multiple project development and coordination with various engineers and project inspectors. Process and interpret subcontractor submittals, RFIs and change orders.Make recommendations to reduce construction project costs by both cost engineering and design changes. Ability to recognize and correct the risk element(s) of projects.
