Sports CoachPremier Education Uk Jan 2014 - May 2018United KingdomMy time at premier sport is one I look fondly back on as I enjoyed every part of it from coaching, meeting the most amazing people at the different schools I worked at, and the relationships I formed with my colleagues. I matured as a coach and learnt to be more versatile on how to deliver sessions and delivery of different sports other than football. I was fortunate to be able to inspire children through sports using my sporting background. My role at premier sports consisted of being competent to perform at consistently high standards in a school environment, be able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs, set up & deliver high quality sports coaching sessions to children and young people, develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles, and show knowledge of the school PE National curriculum. One of my main duties was delivering sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set programs of study and also deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods. -
Head CoachGreenhouse Sports May 2014 - Jun 2017United KingdomI spent three remarkable years at Greenhouse football club as head coach of the U12’s. As part of my role, I was responsible for engaging with young people, helping develop young people's social, emotional, and physical skills through high-quality, intensive football coaching and mentoring to improve their lives. My role as head coach included taking the coaching sessions, mentoring the players, support the personal development of young people, helping them set and achieve goals. I also provided guidance on issues outside of football and personal challenges. I managed to impact the young people I coached by developing their football skills, social skills, self-discipline, and resilience.I also educated them on how important their physical health is and how regular participation in sports can improve physical and mental well-being.The mentoring aspect often extended to academic support, improving educational outcomes for participants. -
Football PlayerBasingstoke Town Football Club Aug 2007 - Jun 2013United KingdomI spent five seasons at Basingstoke football club where I was given the opportunity to regular first team football. In my first year I was awarded with young player of the year. One of my most memorable moment was playing in the first round of the FA cup against Brentford at the old Griffin park stadium. In season 2011/2012 we got the clubs highest finish in fifth place and therefore qualifying for the playoffs. My responsibilities were training, playing in matches, analysing areas for skills improvement with coaches, working on strength and conditioning in the gym, watching videos of opponents, discussing team tactics for the next game with the coaches and manager, working with physiotherapists to treat any injuries. -
Football PlayerWoking Football Club Sep 2006 - Jun 2008United KingdomI spent two years at Woking football club. In my first year I was a 3rd year in the U19 team studying Btec sports. After a successful first year at Woking I was promoted into the first team where I became full time and exposed to men’s football. I was sent on loan to Corinthians Casuals for three months and scored multiple goals. Towards the end of the season I got given the opportunity to make the bench for Woking’s first team on a few occasions.
