While performing in Shakespearean plays at the University of California at Berkeley in the late 1980s, especially with my dear friend, Nancy Hochman, in a Midsummer Night’s Dream, I was confident and sure I was being called by God, who for me is the Holy Trinity, to be an actor later in life. At that time, in the spring of 1988, I intentionally decided to wait to be an actor, not talk about it much at all with anyone, live my life first, and pursue my acting dreams later. To make a long story short, in 2004 I became a member of SAG, the Screen Actors Guild, when I was cast in a Warner Brothers show called Eyes by a director whose first name was Jesus. Later that year my first feature film role happened to be in Red Eye, starring Rachel McAdams. Currently I'm working on my own projects. I enjoy writing inspiring plays and screenplays—comedies, tragedies, and blends of comedies and tragedies—and envisioning amazing theatrical plays and movies, which I hope to produce and direct with others for many years. For the sake of uplifting people and promoting love, peace, goodness, redemption, and so many other wonderful situations and scenes, I love being an actor and am ready to work in scenes anytime.
