Determine the cause of orders on credit hold by obtaining and analyzing a variety of credit relatedinformation and data through multiple available sources. Work with internal departments, specifically Customer Service, Sales, Product Control, and Accounting as well as customers to resolve billing issues for releasing orders. Reduce and maintain a low percentage of past due collection amount primarily by telephone, emails and/or letters. Reconcile due to customer cash receipts by accurately reconciling cash receipts to open invoices. Reduce and maintain a low percentage of pending due to customer cash receipts. Analyze and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts. Obtain and analyze credit data and financial statements for new and existing customers to determine the degree of credit risk and set optimal credit limit. Work with collection agencies and legal counsels, as necessary, to reconcile delinquent accounts. Respond to inquiries from other departments as well as customers. Maintain and update relevant records, files, and information to the database. Proactively inform sales members of problem orders and accounts.Process electronic and web invoicing for select accounts. Proactively identify areas to improve credit operation efficiency and initiate projects to achieve such improvements. Understand and observe company / department policies and procedures. Other duties or projects, as assigned.

Review shipments queued for credit reasons. Taking appropriate action to minimize risk and maximize cash flow. Identify order-related disputes based on discussion with customers and seek timely resolution either internally, through sales district or directly. Customer account reconciliation and problem solving for accounts with complex invoicing and payment requirements. Work with sales personnel regarding new and established customers when non-routine handling is necessary to achieve results.

Place collection calls/follow up calls resolving any issues which may have been delaying payment, propose payment plans. Daily communication with sales. Approve, release and hold orders for billing. Manual billing for service, special handling invoices and milestone contract billing. Obtain exemption certificates and work with tax department. Credit holds and releases.
