Provide effective leadership through supervision of all managers throughout the Agency. Ensure that agency service and program planning, development, management and evaluation processes function effectively to support the accomplishment of the agency’s mission and vision. Collaborate with business, state and federal partners, through an outreach program to identify their employment needs and strategically plan training programs for MCB consumers based on those needs. Develop new programs based on consumer needs and expand existing programs including the statewide college internship program, high school career preparation programs and the short term group independent living program for transitioning youth. Update cooperative agreements with key stakeholders including the Department of Education, the Department of Labor and workforce Development, the Board of Higher Education and the MCB community Rehabilitation Providers network. Engage in a variety of external activities on behalf of the Commissioner and the Agency with consumers, family members, Advisory Board members, EOHHS sister state agencies and federal agencies. Recommend areas for growth and investment based on the Commissioner’s priorities and legislative appropriations.

Designing, implementing and managing processes to ensure timely, quality and consistent problem solving across different service and program activities and operational decision-making. Implement strategies for measuring service and program progress in accomplishing agency goals and objectives. Monitor service auditing process. Plan, organize and direct work and information flow.
