I am a Construction Expert who has been qualified to provide expert testimony in the Ontario Superior Court on matters of construction delay, construction contracting procedures, project cost control, internal cost accounting practices, construction company operations, and quantification of delay and deferral damages. In addition I have provided expert reports and testimony in arbitrations in New York, Detroit, Ottawa and Toronto. Types of construction analysed and reported upon have included university buildings; steel, pharmaceutical, recycling and other industrial plants; highways, bridges and tunnels; combined cycle, hydro and fossil fuel power plants; residential and commercial high-rise; mine site developments; railroads, stations and bridges. In the 30 years before Pearson Consulting, like many other people in this industry, I was forever moving to the next big job. Unlike some, this involved working in 7 different countries, dragging the family along behind me. I love construction and I love travel but by 1993 it was time to settle in one place and Pearson Consulting was started to provide truly independent construction delay and cost analysis on troubled projects. We now have clients from Newfoundland to Alberta, many of whom have been with us from the early days. Our mantra is "Experience, Integrity and Passion", all of which we bring to every project.
