Promote the interests of the Association and its members (28 Community Legal Centres) and ensure that the State office meets all relevant legislative and contractual obligations. - Lead and coordinate Association staff; promote effective working relationships between staff, volunteers, members, Executive Committee and external stakeholders (funding bodies, community legal centres and the community).- Liaise with government and key stakeholders in relation to policy trends and service development and develop community consultation processes.- Formulate organisational policy and strategic service development and assist in achieving the organisational strategic and business plan objectives.- Ensure the Association is organised and resourced to meet the requirements of funding bodies and the community.- Develop submissions, tenders, partnerships and community linkage strategy.- Manage human resources policy and practices, facilitate performance management, monitor staff position descriptions and develop policies to attract and retain staff.- Monitor projects, service delivery outcomes and quality assurance.- Implement and monitor contract management systems.- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies.- Manage buildings, equipment, assets, insurances, banking and investment accounts.- Prepare media releases and represent the organisation at relevant forums.- Provide monthly written reports to the Executive Committee.
